Dear Pack 42,

Join us for a morning hike along the shoreline of Lake Michigan at Fort Sheridan to investigate the unique geological features of our area.

When: Saturday, November 19
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (at the latest)
Where: Meet at the Lake County Forest Preserve Fort Sheridan Site Parking Lot (see the attached map)

What to Wear: Warm, comfortable clothes as it is always colder at the lake
What to Bring: Sample collection bag and a snack with your den/family

Webelos Scouts will earn their Geologist Activity Badge. All other scouts are welcome to join for an interesting and active tour. (If you are not a Webelos scout coming to earn the Geologist Badge, join us for whatever length of time your den/family wishes to stay.)

Please RSVP to Piet vanpiet@yahoo.com  so that he knows how many will meet in the parking lot. Please ALSO RSVP to your Den Leader so that you can coordinate a snack and carpool.

Any questions, please contact Piet directly.

Thanks very much.
